95th Percentile Billing

Industry-standard billing method that excludes your top 5% traffic spikes from monthly charges.

How it works: We sample your bandwidth usage every 5 minutes (300 samples/day, ~9,000 samples/month). At month-end, we sort all samples and remove the top 5% (450 highest samples). You're billed based on the 95th percentile sample.

Example: If you burst to 10 Gbps for 36 hours (432 samples) during month but average 2 Gbps otherwise, your 95th percentile will be approximately 2.5 Gbps—far below your peak.

Benefit: Traffic spikes don't create billing shocks. You can handle temporary load increases without overage fees.

Committed Rate Billing

Fixed monthly fee for guaranteed bandwidth capacity.

Monthly Cost = Committed Bandwidth × Rate per Mbps

10 Gbps committed @ $0.50/Mbps = $5,000/month flat

Burstable Rate Billing
